Bryan Cranston Explained Why Donald Trump’s MAGA Slogan Is Racist In The Simplest Terms!
Bryan Cranston is telling it like it is — and thank goodness for that.
The Breaking Bad alum spoke with Chris Wallace on CNN Sunday night, getting very real about the political situation in this country.
The Malcolm in the Middle alum slammed Donald Trump‘s political sloganeering with that stupid “Make America Great Again” line.

In a clip that has since gone mega-viral across Twitter, Cranston first looked back at some of the more shameful parts of America’s history:
“How did we get to the point where we treated other human beings as slaves and were OK with that?”
Then, he set his sights on the former Apprentice host turned wannabe dictator. Speaking about “MAGA” as a slogan and as a political movement, Cranston schooled everyone watching with an important lesson about history — and how it hasn’t always been so kind to Black Americans:
“When I see the ‘Make America Great Again,’ my comment is, ‘do you accept that it could possibly be construed as a racist remark?’ And most people — a lot of people — go, ‘how could that be racist? Make America Great Again?’ So, just ask yourself from an African-American experience, when was it ever great in America for the African-American? When was it great? So, if you’re making it great again, it’s not including them. So it’s to teach us, in the ‘woke’ world, to open up, and accept the possibilities that our privilege has created blindspots for us. And maybe I haven’t seen what is really happening yet, in all my years.”
